John such a great idea to review your week on film... Just got your book too and i can put it down.... Thanks graham
I like the idea a lot John, however, your sound levels are a bit off, your voice is much quieter than the effects.
I like seeing you in video, John, but your stories need to be edited down a little. I don't mean to say you should gloss over important or complex details, but speaking a story and telling a story are two very different forms of communication. I think a bit lighter and faster movement of the story will help.
This may be picky, but the closeness of the camera and cue cards means your eyes move a lot and its a bit distracting.
Also, the lighting is nice for a static image but moving your head and/or certain facial expressions can create some problem shadows.
I'd say its a net positive change for the site if the production time isn't too high.
Finally, once you have all this great video, how can you allow it to seed your site (through youtube?) without selling your soul to the devil?
