Chief of Staff?? The position is basically a bellhop for JDK--the COS is a guy that failed in every Getty endeavor but is a FOJ (Friend of Jonathan, as they're known throughout the company).

Oh, and by the way, Klein ordered himself up a $1M bonus for the move to NYC--on the heels of laying off about 35 people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7553278593406733377.post-62198395159629938572007-09-22T01:07:00.000-04:002007-09-22T01:07:00.000-04:00Get your facts straight, Ranz has been at Getty si...Get your facts straight, Ranz has been at Getty since 1999, which you'd know if you had done 15 seconds of research.

She was highly successful in a variety of roles inside Getty. More to the point, she was the one person in senior management that was highly respected and liked by those in the trenches.

Not only for her ability to get things done, but for her lack of politics, and for being a genuinely nice person. There's no way someone like that could last in senior management long.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
